i'd like to know too. I know its the accepted fact...but is it actually fact? It is my opinion that it just gets blown out of proportions coz of same sex sex. 

Genetic family can be achieved through your own sperm and probably a donated egg... yeah.. i dont know if thats a thing, but sperms get donated, why not egs?
