I honestly don't understand when people say that they hope for a game similar to Revelations; given that Revelations had an style more akin to modern Resident Evil games than the two original ones.
Heck, the "roots" of Resident Evil are within 1 and 2. Maybe Code Veronica depending on how you want to look at it. Any other Resident Evil game follows a much more action-horror scheme.
