Resident to return to its old roots?

Also, I need help trying to find out a rough estimate of how much it sold, I know it's hard to find out digital only sales..

Did Capcom put out some kind of press release saying this? I haven't seen anything, and it's only been 10 days that the game is out.

But, I certainly hope they don't go back to its old roots. Old roots are slow and boring. I want more of RE5, more couch co-op, more Raid mode and more Mercenaries.
