I didn't realize I was being psychoanalyzed.

Anyway, I think you're having problems with the way I worded it. NPD has not shown the PS4 winning since October, correct? So when I said "Fact, PS4 hasn't won the US since October"... that is a fact. Should NPD report that it won January, then it is no longer such. And when that happens, I sure as hell won't say it again.

NPD has also shown that the PS4 outsold the X1 for the year of 2014. That is also fact. PS4 outsold the X1 from January to end of October more than the X1 outsold the PS4 from November to end of December. Who knows? This year will demonstrate again that winning all the non-holiday months is more beneficial. There are many angles to interpret NPD's data, but you have adamantly adhered to one while refusing to listen to the points for others.

But I digress. Amazon, so far, has predicted 100% accuracy which console wins the month. This is a much higher percentage than VGC (you did look at the NPD archives under Boutros's OP, did you? If not, I suggest you look at his NPD threads). Latest monthly charts show that PS4 is #9 while the X1 is #19. It has also been shown in other major retailers such as Best Buy, Gamestop, and Walmart that the PS4 is selling more.

The issue here isn't your position, but rather holding a position without presenting evidence. Regurgitating facts is not presenting evidence. You need to make several observations such as analyzing VGC's inaccuracies and looking at the best selling charts and synthesize a strong hypothesis based on what you have observed.
