Its so easy to see seemingly arbitrary patterns and think they were woven like by that of the Fates themselves.. but most of the time, its just a good idea. Microsoft saw "digital legos" for 2.5b and bought it. Its really that simple. Lego makes 3/4 ths of a billion a year. Not that risky of an investment. Was I also programming in autocad by playing Sims? Or maybe learning the fundamentals of business and advertising by I putting up warcraft auctions? |
IMO it wasnt worth 2,5m as the minecraft bandwagons been steady declining inpopularity, they also looped themselves into a situation where more than half of the games userbase play on pc/playstation/mobile,, so doing anythihng that is overly in favor of xbox over everyone else ensures potentially losing the largest portion of its userbase, and potentially killing the franchise.
So theyre trapped with it, and notch kicks back in beyonces pad eating lucky charms from the box in his pajamas watching jeremy kyle.
