I don't understand. I was adopted and I received love like all my friends. So I can't the point of "have children is important". But maybe is just me

It's not just you. I'd much rather adopt than have biological children. There are too many children out there that need a home (and love), and I wish people could see that. This may sound weird to 99.99% of the population, but I find the whole need for your "own" children (such a terrible term) a bit selfish (Aristotle did too, for anyone who cares). It sucks that the vast majority of the couples who adopt are unable to have biological children. It's be much better if more peole did not think this way, as far as I'm concerned.

Having said that, sorry Wright. I wouldn't. I'm happy for all transexuals but I don't find myself attracted to them. If I was already in love with someone who was a trassexual and I didn't know it, I guess I wouldn't have a problem.

On a side note. Has anyone else watched Transparent? I just watched the entire first season today and it's pretty good.

There are strong religious, spritual and traditional reasons. Many religious folk do it for good old-fashioned procreation. Some people feel that the child is like the merging of spririts/entities of the romantic couple. And some just do it becuase it's the norm.
