I can't tell you the number of times I've seen someone Let's Playing a game and it's made me want to go out and buy it.  What these companies are doing makes no sense to me;  when has a gamer ever said "that game looks cool.  I'd really like to watch someone else play that game"?  

Well it does depend on the game, and your img dont work btw.

But I confess to not buying b2s because I watched it on youtube. A random youtuber made money instead of quantic dream.

I'd much rather the money goes to those 40 men who sit at computers for 2 years sweating on perfecting a game, than some youtuber who plays it, records and uploads.

If it's a LP, microsoft deserves ALL the money. So splitting it is quite nice of them tbh.
If it's a review/preview with gameplay clips, i'm sure the company would be lenient, because it is then just like a trailer for a movie.
