However, I must say your logic completely escapes me. It's probably smarter if we compare countries to countries, continents to continents, and so forth. Well, that was dumb thing to say on your part. And figures for Japan include other Asain countries and regions.
Care to elaborate on your claim that Japanese games sales figures account for other Asian countries and regions, or post some proof of that? If not, I've got to say that's a load of crap! Japan's figures, are "Japan's" figures... not the rest of Asia! Take the Xbox 1 for example, in late 2004 they had sold 1.4 million Xbox's in Asia, and only about 400k were actually from Japan. My point is that complete Asia figures can be a lot higher than just Japan's figures. http://forum.pcvsconsole.com/viewthread.php?tid=8498 As I stated earlier in this thread, a lot of people make the mistake of taking NPD data for the US, adding in Japan, and then adding in Europe to get WW... however, you miss a TON of the rest of the world (the rest of NA, the rest of Asia, Australia, and many other parts around the globe). You seem to be in this camp, and it appears your trying to say that Japanese numbers are good enough to represent all of Asia. That's just not true at all.
