I really like achievements and mainly for making me replay games and getting the most out of them.
In the past I would complete a game and then think...I'm done and move to another. Now I go back and complete as many achievements as I can get by replaying levels or beating the game on a harder setting ect...
I also think Nintendo needs to get on board with this as well.
