You're playing Dragon Age ,right? Good game but it's filled with a lot fluff, just like Skyrim (a little to much like Skyrim). You could finish it for like 60 to 80 hours but all of the content could probably take a lot more. You could go for different quest on your second play through but frankly they all side quest feel empty. You should just focus on the companion quests for side missions.
MMOs are designed after extensive studies to basically get you hook with a slow sense of progression through stimulating your dopamine receptors. And the "chosen one" trope doesn't work in conjunction with the gameplay.
