Have you ever been patted down before? It doesn't feel that invasive.
Clothes removed does feel invasive. Maybe you are a exhibitionist or something and thus wouldn't understand, but damn that IS NOT A GOOD FEELING mentally. I would cry if I was forced to do that. ("millimeter wave scan" probably does not show the front side for a reason.)
