While I do agree with what you are saying, given the ways that MS seems to do things, they disagree! Heck, just look at Fable Legends for example, that is coming to PCs and that is arguably one of MS's biggest IPs!

But either ways, I think bringing MCC to PC would be a good move for MS after Halo 5 comes out because if the main strengths of the Halo franchise is its multiplayer and community, then most likely the fans of the franchise will be looking to get Halo 5 when that comes out and not going to bother with MCC after that. So they should release MCC for PC as a way of not only making more money since PC gamers hadn't had a Halo game for a while, but also as a way of teasing them to play Halo 5
