What an impossible list... I know I'll think of tons I forgot the moment I'm done. In no particular order:
The Mario series
Warcraft (rts and mmo)
Age of Empires
Diablo
Elder Scrolls (mmo is only one I didn't care for)
Final Fantasy
Rainbow Six/BF/CoD then back to BF was my fps progression... Cheating, I know :p
Europa Universalis
Total War
Legend of Zelda
...I'd much prefer this had been a "top 40 franchises" list. Makes me sad to leave so many out. :p
