I will, and i think everyone should. It's not bad at all, I don't know why so many people is still stuck with the "I won't upgrade from Win7" mindset. Get on with the times, people. Microsoft fucks up from time to time but lately they've been doing really great things.

Grammatical errors aside, you don't understand it because you likely weren't someone who used Windows the way the people that complained about Windows 8 used. I hated Windows 8 because Microsoft "dumbed down" the OS to make it "more convenient" for kids who play around on their phone/tablet. They took the OS from their worst selling product (phones/tablets), and they replaced their best selling product with that mobile OS. That is the stupidest marketing decision I've ever seen. If a company makes/does something stupid you don't say, "People screw up from time-to-time, but I'm sure that they'll get better. In the meantime let me replace something I enjoy with this thing that gives me fits of rage." That would just be encouraging the company to continue making/doing stupid things. I didn't get Windows 8 because I wanted to. I have Windows 7 on my main desktop. I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop that someone bought me for Christmas with Windows 8.1 pre-installed, and on my work laptop that my company pre-installed. Windows 8.1 was/is horrible for me. Windows 7 has the functionality that I liked. I am "with the times". I'm just not so stupid that I'm going to pay a company to make piss-poor decisions.
