Gabe Newell has sinxe blasted Microsoft's Windows 8 and dug in with linux for their operating system of choice. A clear choice to compete with, and not join MS. So yes, I (meaning my opinion) doubt valve will work with MS (future tense and not referring to the past).

Well blasting Windows 8 was hardly unique to Valve...

It will be all about Windows 10 soon enough though...

I have given up on the Windows OS. I don't like the Metro look/feel. I think Microsoft is making stupid decisions.
