MS and other american IT monopolies like google are facing alot of anti trust law suits in europe. In 2010 MS was even forced to give european users of windows a choice of various of webrbowser by installing it, only in 2014 they removed it again.

I think in this mood in the EU it would be very smart by sony or valve or both to sue Microsoft in europe over their xbox app, it could dissapear and be an optional app for european users. Whats your opinion? I think they could have success.

I think you vastly miss interpreted the anti trust law in general and even more the European court decision... They have zero basis in either case...

but beyond that a shit ton of the European laws are not enforced... Heck for example in Europe I own all my digital library on any device and can legally resell it on the second hand market and every company is suppose to make it possible to transfer digital licenses to users... Do you see iTune, google play, xbl, psn or amazon etc enabling, yet this is probably one of the biggest issue I consumer rights for today's economy...

so all in all with no basis a broken system and the slowness of the system even if you had an ounce of a chance on a miss understanding we'd be at Xbox 3 before anything happens...
