I can't see that happening at all tbh, people say this about some other competitor when they get hold of a new toy or marketing tactic, people instantly go into "MS/Sony/Nintendo/PC is DOOMED!!!11" without looking properly into the past, present and the future (who ever wants to wait for the future though when we can apparently see into it and pull numbers out of our asses though?).
Valve will still go strong with Steam and MS will partly be strong with W10, in the hopes it doesn't pull a Windows 8 and doesn't fuck up any more than they already have with their "PC gaming" offerings from their recent event (goody I get the privy to buy an expensive console that looses exclusives to the PC I already own and I get to stream the less exclusive sub par games to my already powerful PC and enjoy the sufferable lag).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
