Xbox on Windows 10: the end of Steam?

Why? MS already sells apps. Why would they let Valve sell games if they can do the same and get all the money? It's all about the mahney!!

MS does not control all games.  They only have control over the games they publish and/or develop and/or money hat. They can ban the sale of their own games on Steam just like EA with Origin.  So, at most, we will have an Origin-like level of competition.

That being said, if they remain competitive in terms of price and in terms of being an attrative alternative to steam for publishers and developers, then Steam could have some real competition.
