Today Windows forced me to upgrade from 8.0 to 8.1. It was asking to upgrade for the last couple days and I always chose the 'later' option but today it gave me no choice. I looked it up and there was a way to disable it by uninstalling some windows update files but I didn't bother doing that.
One reason I didn't update before was because I had everything setup the way I liked it and 'windows key + x' was good enough for me.
Anyways, some questions:
- Do you think Windows 10 will be a forced upgrade for 8/8.1 users?
- Would there be any benifits and drawbacks to MS for doing a forced upgrade to 10?
- What would be the benifits and drawbacks for Windows users with a forced upgrade to 10?
