It'll be down for sure as we have no games confirmed for the second half, and with them having revealed Majora's Mask and Fire Emblem recently, the latter of which likely wont make it worldwide this year, I find it hard to believe they still have a bunch of games to announce that'll release before the year ends.

well we know there's going to be a pokemon game and possibly another a holiday title. there will be the usual third party dreck, obviously, but i can't imagine we won't see a bunch of 2nd half 2015 stuff at e3 for the 3ds.

bravely second is nothing to sneer at either (1m+ and counting), and that's almost certainly coming this year given the success of bravely default. tho that seems more a late-august or september title than the holiday title.

How do we know that? They took a break on the main series after the last 3 years in a row so it's likely they'll do so again. It still doesn't make sense to me to announce Fire Emblem over games that will actually release this year, but eh they've done that plenty of times before so I guess it doesn't mean anything.

If they take as long as they did to localize the original then we wont be seeing Bravely Second for a while lel.

why would they take 2+ years to localize a game that's a proven seller? that's what happened with xenoblade, they waited two years and then they saw that that would sell better in the west than in japan even. now xenoblade x is launching in the west within a few months of its japanese release. same with bravely second. that hardly seems to me to be much of a stretch...

also, the break they took was called releasing a new console (gba to ds). but in recent memory? no break whatsoever. diamond and pearl (2007), platinum (2009), heartgold and soulsilver (2010), black and white (2011), black 2 and white 2 (2012), x and y (2013), omega ruby and alpha saphire (2014), ...

they haven't taken a break since 2008. and they've been rewarded for annualization with consistently excellent sales. no way are they skipping an enhanced remake of x and y this year.

as for announcing fire emblem before other games this year... this is the company that announced shin megami tensei x fire emblem in january of 2013 and we have yet to see it. they just like to open big and close big.
