I have every console on the market. I buy a lot of games but I don't think I'm a whore. In the past, games like Destiny, Dragon Age, and the latest Assassins Creed have been left on the shelf. I just didn't want them. As for the future? Bloodborne may not get a nod until I know more about it. Forza 6 looks great but it's too much game for me. Dying Light is first person. Third person and I'd pre-order it.
I have a soft spot for certain obscure games so, while a lot of high profile titles will go unplayed, a game like Devil's Third will be a day one purchase. I like what I like.
