The problem is that Microsoft can only cut the price so much. The 360 and PS3 still cost over $150 for crying out loud. Right now, even with a $50 disadvantage, the PS4 is still perceived to have better value than the X1. The PS4 has a plethora of exclusives (and console exclusives) that will help boost the baseline. A $100 pricecut would be a megabomb, for sure.
