Xbox One is going to be advertised and promoted to hundreds of millions of people this year, every time they turn their PC on

I really dont think PC gamers would be bothered in any way. Its only Xbox one console owners that would have the most use of it, steam gamers may try out the service but then would go back to steam gaming. Its a really nice addition and improvement from the Windows 8 Xbox app version.

Steam just updated yesterday i think to support livestreaming, steamboxes are still a thing and they come with steam OS, so its still a bit iffy to say the xbox one app will make a spike in xbox one sales/gaming.

Also, xbox one has already been advertised to hundreds of millions of people by now (most especially the ones using PCs)
