Pretty staggering success story on Kickstarter today as a card game "Exploding Kittens" went up with a goal of raising $10K. It achieved it in 20 minutes! It went quickly to $100K in an hourd and over 1 million within the first day. In its second day it has surpassed 2 million dollars raised and will end being one of the biggest successes on Kickstarter.
What is it? Basically a card game where you play to not lose as Exploding Kittens kick you out of the game, last man standing wins.
Why is it so insanely successful? I put a lot of it behind "The Oatmeal" creator promoting it and doing the artwork. Has a strong and loyal following that have helped make this already have ~56K (and counting) backers.
