When I first opened up the laptop to clean up the lemonade spills, after I put it all back together I had none of the issues I am having now with the new keyboard. When I had the old keyboard plugged in the only problem I had was the keys themselves weren't working so I just figured it was a broken keyboard and I got it replaced.

Also with this new keyboard, you guys know the numbers on the top and how they have secondary functions when you hold shift, well for some reason this keyboard only types out the secondary functions even if I am not holding shift. I can't use the numbers at all.

Also another weird issue is caps lock has to be on for the keys to be lower case, and when caps lock is turned off the keys are upper case. It's backwards...
