Is the Xbox One a failure?

I think in certain ways it has failed. For instance the kinect being removed is not something MS wanted. In fact I'm almost positive that they always had other intentions for it as far as selling things to advertisers. I also think they failed in the US market. They had an 18 million lead over the PS3 they've clearly lost a huge portion of that. It's never a good thing to lose users.
