1. HD remake.... last nintendo direct gave us Mario Galaxy 2 on WiiU .... this is pretty bad business by nintendo. They could of made a HD remake of Galaxy 1 & 2 and bundle them for $50. This can be handle by outside studio and boost software available to WiiU. There so many games that could benefit from the HD treatment. Given the choice to release Galaxy 2 for the Virtual Console, ships sailed on a Super Mario All Stars 3D, at least until the next galaxy game comes to market. As far as the other titles, the bundles won't sell as well and they can pimp each Zelda game out and sell it at a premium price, so why go that route there?

2. WiiU consoles colour scheme... Black and white??? Nintendo has gone down this path before and it has result in short term increase in hardware sales. More limited edition WiiU's that would boost sales and put the focus on Nintendo WiiU if only to generate some news.  This could work, but its a stop-gap solution at best, and would also require Nintendo to spread themselves even further than they already are to produce the new console colors. This also doesn't help them move units that are already sitting on store shelves.

3.  WiiU Slim or WiiU redesign... rather then change colour release a new redesign WiiU. WiiU 250-500gb anyone? A new slim model once again does not help them move the units already sitting on the shelves and in their storage warehouses, not to mention I can buy an external HDD and hook it up to my Wii U via USB.

4.  Every new game should have get a limited run WiiU bundle, software sales consoles and what better way to boost sales then to try to entice new customer with a limited edition bundle.  It really seems like you want Nintendo to produce even more of a console that already isn't selling well. Retail shelf space is limited, and so is storage space. This could work though, if they worked out a deal with retailers to include a game with the console, rather than a newly produced bundle.

5.  Price cut.... MSRP has been $299 since August 2013, sure price cut is not the only solutions but it's certainly not going to hurt. The only way to boost softwares sales is by increasing the current install based. Lost revenue on hardware is quickly made up in periphiral and softwares. A price cut is definitely needed. I would go as far as $200 or $250 with the consumers option of a game or addtional controller. Nintendo has to get these things in peoples homes and let word of mouth work its magic.

6.  More software, sure Nintendo by now has completely lost third party support, It's time for Nintendo to build a staple of 2nd Party partnership studios. Nintendo cant make enough software to prevent software drought and there enough struggling studios in Japan and around the world that could use some security that nintendo can provide by funding their game development. Nintendo has been losing $400million~ for the last three years straight. Yes they need to expand slightly, but Nintendo is already spread thin as is. They have to produce Amiibo, two consoles, support each with first party games, hype interest in new games and IP's, manage a new online network, and produce accessories. They have to be careful what they spend their money on or it'll dry up, fast.

7.  Better use of Nintendo Direct, I think there should be a monthly Nintendo direct that focus on every WiiU and 3DS games coming out in the near future. These Nintendo direct should no longer feature Iwata and his broken english (I'm not saying drop Iwata entirely just doesn't have to have him do every Nintendo Direct) , Nintendo has large marketing such as the Tree House and Bill Trinen that would be much better a conveying the Monthly Nintendo Direct message. Let marketing do their job. Monthly ND's are something that they should definitely focus on, but with more gameplay footage and less cinematic footage. Possibly even make them shorter to justify having them more often. Iwata should stay, shows that the company believes in him and reassures investors for not ousting him(he should be fired tho).

8.  Capcom.... buy them enough said. Buy Megaman or Breath of Fire, not Capcom. Buying Megaman or Breath of Fire makes more sense than the whole struggling company. Either would add diversity to the companies first party IP's as well as add in options for whole new lines of Amiibo, instead of 5 different Mario Amiibo lines.

9. Bring more Apps to the Nintendo WiiU, allowing for more diversity will have people using their WiiU more often.  Give people reason to use their WiiU every day will increase interest in the WiiU and may generate positive word of mouth advertising. Music, picture, and movie viewing are something the OS really needs, and should have already. As far as more apps go, its a slipery sloap at this point. Everything that runs in the background while you play a game takes away from the consoles horsepower thats available for the game.

10.  Recapture the casual market, Xbox one and PS4 aren't really focusing on this market segment either. Casuals have mostly moved on to cellphones and tablets. Nintendo got the casual market last generation by having a neat gimick and a cheap system that had mass appeal. By the end of the Wii's lifespan it was losing money. Why? Casuals moved on to free or .99c games that were on things they already owned.

Nintendo needs to focus on the more mature or older auidence. Kids over the age of 10 and teens don't care about Nintendo any more. Its a kiddy company to them, and lets be honest, thats how Nintendo protrays itself. Nintendo's next console needs to have more third party support, as well as a more diverse line up of first party games. They also need to have more mature titles and market them well. Devils Third is not the answer Nintendo is looking for when it comes to the Mature shooter market. It's a new IP that no one has really heard of outsides Nintendo fans. Not to mention that... it looks kind lame. Nintendo already has its own Mature FPS game that it can focus on and develop, Metroid. A new Megaman Legends could also do wonders for the system, as well as the revival of the Breath of Fire series. The Breath of Fire series can also be taken in a more mature direction, since the last real game we got was Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter for the PS2 which had an excellent dark and gritty story as well as fun and engaging gameplay. Another option to diversify the game library for the Wii U would be a Tales of game. Nintendo already has a good working relationship with Namco Bandai or Bandai Namco or Namdai Banco or whatever they want to call themselves this week, so a new Tales of game could be a great option as well.
