So, I am a little confused on the second to last paragraph where you say:
"So I plugged out the keyboard from the motherboard just to test it out, and when I tried the laptop everything worked just as it did before. It booted up normally, the mouse was perfectly fine and when I would click on a link it would work just as it used to. Also I'm 100% sure it wasn't opening links in a new window because of google chrome, I made sure to turn that setting off. I turned it off and it did the same thing, I turned it on and same shit...'
So, you took off your new keyboard from the motherboard and you tested the laptop without your new keyboard and everything worked fine? Or did you put your new keyboard in some other laptop and then it started working?
