Souls is niwhere near in sales to Borderlands. It's barely selling half the units. It's niche because it sells to fans of a particular genre and is completely inaccessible to anybody outside. Borderlands is a FPS which is significantly more popular among general population. It is very accessible and easy to play. Also, I believe that many newcomers that pucked up a PS4 for Destiny will give BL a shot, as it is of similar gameplay aspects with a lot of character modification. BL has a chance to pick up a portion of new audience there.

Yeah but this isn't a new Borderlands, just another upscaled port. Which I'm pretty sure most people are sick of. Bloodborne is a brand new PS4 exclusive which Sony will hype out and already has a ton of pre orders and will easily sell in the millions. Not a niche title at all, heck dark souls 2 sold over 2 million. How is tht niche??? We have people from Totalbiscuit to Pewdipie that loves the souls games. NOT NICHE
