The Wii U is the only console to ever baffle me

In terms of reception. It's got GREAT reviews (93 on Metacritic, 93% on GameRankings, 5 stars on Amazon), yet it's barely talked about and didn't even get close to selling the Wii U. Why? Because it's not what fans wanted. They wanted a sequel to Super Mario 64 in HD, not a sequel to 3D Land in HD.

I have played every main console Mario ever. In fact I played Galaxy 2 again as recently as last year. Yet I have no interest in 3D World. I am not even close to being alone either.

You have absolutely no room to talk if you've never played 3D World. I doubted it too. Then I played it. Its now my favorite Mario game. and I hated 3D Land.
