Crash 3 it is! But it's really hard to choose between 2 and 3.
And as Carl said, it was for a loooooong time the best platformer ever made IMO.
Rayman Legends and Super Mario Galaxy 2 deserves to rank better than Crash 3 because they are brilliant, it was bound to happen sometime as Crash is so old by now, but how I wish we could have a new ND made Crash game!

Indeed 3 was the pinnacle of the series, even though I like 2 more I see why it's so loved by everyone. I'd love to have a new crash game too!! But it seems like an impossible right now...
