Oh absolutely. Nintendo's lack of support on this list is mainly due to poor third party support and the fact that their second half lineup is top secret. I'll try to keep this topic fresh as the months go on if I can to show changes throughout the year as more is announced and more is released. Unfortunately I couldn't include Wii Fit because I have nothing to place it against, and Mario Kart Wii is just too far out of reach right now for inclusion at like 82% or so. If I were to put in another 10 to make it thirty, I believe Tales of Symphonia, Guitar Hero IV and Fatal Frame IV would have all made the list.

I didn't mean to make it seem like I was attacking your list for a lack of Nintendo games or anything. I'm sorry if it came out that way. It's just that Pikmin 3 rumors have been out for a while, and that was the first game that I thought of, that wasn't on the list. You could possibly compare wii fit to DDR games, based on the fact that a person has to step on something, but they don't really score all that high (and by high I mean compared to the games on this list). Mario Kart will most likely not be on this list (unless a lot of American reviewers love it). This summer we'll find out more games for all 3 home consoles (since it appears that you are not considering DS/PSP games). It will be interesting to see the changes on this list from month to month, and eventually the end of 2008, to see what was actually the top game of 08. Please keep updating this once in a while (mostly after these games release, and new games get announced).

I know you weren't attacking the list, just trying to give my reasons on why Nintendo was not included very often generally, because as you can see, one post lower than yours was koopatooper questioning why there wasn't more Wii games on the list, as he wasn't paying attention to this topic in the least bit. I too believe Pikmin 3 is coming this year, and the moment it's official, it's on the list, wherever it may land.

Including PSP and DS would have meant inclusion of PC too, and that's just too big an undertaking for something that would have added hours onto the research I did, as I'm not too familiar with PC gaming as I am with console gaming. Obviously Starcaft II and Spore would have made the list, as would Patapon and God of War for PSP, and probably Sonic Chronicles for DS. Sorry I'm really rusty on the DS's lineup this year, so that's all that came to mind immediately.
