do people really think they haven't een working on the DLC for a while now ??? already at E3 they said they were working on it and would come shortly after the launch of the game...
now 50 million was a cash advance.. they'll still ake money on top of that by selling the DLC...
Sony can't do shit about it if the contract is made correctly... even if they 'd buy R* they would have to honor the contract anyway...
and I can see a map expansion with more missions as a DLC... 5 gigs it's the size of an HD movie not really that crazy IMO....
I'm pretty sure the DLC will be a important asset for the one who really like the game... will it be a system seller I don't know.... but for hardcore gamers like us it will be awesomely great.... I strongly believe that episodic content could be the future to reduce initial cost or at least spread the expenses of development on a longer period and already start turning profit on the previous episodes... it's a bet but it could be the right one for the devs and MS... we'll see
