I can see easily the difference, as many others I see. Still this is a silly comparison and I'll tell you why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKk_OgZss1Q See this video? Can you tell the difference? I could use this to say the WiiU is as capable as the Ps4, but we both know it's not true. The Ps4 version looks similar because the game was originally designed for WiiU. The same way Dark Souls II was originally designed for 30fps, so it looks only maginally better on 60fps. When you have fast-paced games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart or Bayonetta the difference between 30pfs and 60fps means a lot. If you look at classic arena multiplayer shooters like Quake3 or UT, 60fps is a must: those games are nearly unplayable at 30fps. The whole argument of 30 vs 60fps is silly. 60fps is objectively always a better option when it's possible, but 30fps are just good enough for many types of gameplay, so it's just a matter of game design at the end. |
I see your point, the ps4 version is a bad port from the Wii U version but besides that, the video is in slowmotion. Speed it up to normal speeds and the difference is minimal.
