My guess:
-the free form screen(already rumored). unlikely, seems to expensive to be on a max 200$ handheld.
-maybe a foldable screen. but unfeasible and expensive too.
-improve the N3DS recognition of the camera, where it coud recognise a blink of the eye, showing the tongue, know which screen the user is looking and use that as gameplay inputs, and call this inovation.
-changeable parts. i could change my analog stick for a abxy or d-pad.(there is a nintendo patent on this)
-HD screen only if they go single screen. But the legacy and expertise wont let them abandon dual screens, imo.
I think both are unlikely. The 'inovation' seems to be the integration with the home console and the OS..
