I would love to have one and an entire collection to play arcade perfect ports at home but a single game costs hundreds to thousands of dollars, so that ain't happening anytime soon. TurboGraphx 16 is also a fascinating console, it's such a adorable tiny little console caught between the Genesis and SNES and as a result only really saw success in Japan. It has a lot of cool games on it and it's relatively cheap so I definitely wan to pick one up sometime soon. |
Turbografx is not really that cheap but you should definitely pick one up!
some of the best shooters of that era (Blazing Lazers cough). I dig mine, the HU little cards are way better than clonky cartridges in my opinion. I've also found Turbographx (from my experience) usually last through time pretty well. never have had a broken one except for one I got at one point that had been left in a shed and rusted up. think that comes from the tight small design, not a lot of room for parts to get shaken about unlike some others (cough NES and SNES)
