Given for the monthly we have PS4 at 8 and Xb one at 16 right now, and PS4 is still ahead on the hourlies I think it's likely that PS4 will win January NPD. Should be close though, being a low sales months generally. Might be 30 or 40K between them. Feb will be interesting being the first full non-holiday month with $350 Xb one in effect. |
Well,Xb1 might just sold fast on holidays to those who anywise would buy it...And now despite going back to the lower price it doesn't thrive as much as it would be expected!

It could be that a lot of people went and bought Xb one last year because they thought it would be a long time before they would see $350 again, so the market potential for $350 is a little diminished, at least for a month or so. Still, Xb one baseline will be higher than 2014.
