They may also do additional price promos during the holidays. For example, say both the PS4 & XBO are at $350 come this October, which is likely. MS may drop the XBO to $300 during November and December. Basically, if having the XBO be below parity with the PS4 doesn't help outside the holidays, they may keep it at parity until the holidays, only dropping it below parity during the last two months of the year. |
I agree that what you say could be a possibility. The next few months will be very interesting to say the least.
