RPGs are arguably the least represented genre on the Wii U. As of right now, the only well-known RPGs for the console seem to be Mass Effect 3, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Child of Light, which are all great games in their own right, but there should be more.
With Xenoblade Chronicles X coming this year, arguably being the largest RPG the Wii U will ever see, I feel that this is appropriate to talk about. Where are the RPGs? We have a vague idea of Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, which would be a wonderful addition to mature the genre on the platform, but we haven't heard much about it since E3. Paper Mario will more than likely come at some point, given it's never skipped a home console. But what else is left?
It was rumored a while back that the Wii U could see a sequel to The Last Story, given that the developer showed interest in it, which would be a lovely surprise. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is also a possibility considering Capcom's satisfaction with 3U's sales on the Wii U.
Do you want to see more RPGs on the Wii U, and if so, which games do you think are likely to come, OR which games do you think are unlikely but you'd love to see anyways?
Edit: Of course there are also other eShop RPGs such as Pier Solar, Unepic and the upcoming Citizens of Earth, in addition to the VC catalogue.
