it won't change things much
if someone has 250$ to buy a gaming system for fun then they certainly have 300$. the buyers are primarily youngsters parents OR middle aged gamers for any system, both angles that have money to spend
it just does not make sense from a business perspective. again if you NEED to carve out a portion of the market to survive then I understand dropping prices- but as it stands Nintendo can make money from their current prices. why risk that to gain more console purchases if it is likely to be an insignificant difference
