I wonder if the 1/3 week is the new baseline (1:1 in US/2:1 WW) or if the bulk buyers are about to bite the bullet for attempting to take advantage of buyers and the price drop. It's hard to tell, because these are usually the slower months, most of the big titles for Q1 and Q2 are primarily on PS4, and the you could get an X1 for $300-$320 during the holidays. I, for one, really like the idea of scalpers having to price match last week's sales.
