I'm shocked to hear that happened. I always have my Vita on the charger (well it's usually just sitting on 100% because I don't take it off), I've done what you've done plenty of times in the past and was fine. Though for a small period, I think it has something to do with the game SAOHF, it would die in sleep mode like I was playing it the whole time, when I would put SAO to sleep. Card games were fine and I tested plenty of other digital games which were fine. Last odd thing SAO and one other game (can't remember at the moment), sometimes the system would lock up in sleep mode and just wouldn't wake up so I have to hard reset. Was weird, haven't played much apart from atelier meruru recently so havent had issues any more.
