So everyone look at this from almost two years ago:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-780-performance-review,3516-9.html

^The 780 is ~25% stronger than the 7970 GHz at launch.  Seems about right.

Now look below:

http://www.techspot.com/review/921-dragon-age-inquisition-benchmarks/page5.html

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Gigabyte/GeForce_GTX_980_G1_Gaming/27.html

http://www.techspot.com/review/917-far-cry-4-benchmarks/page4.html

http://www.techspot.com/review/925-the-crew-benchmarks/page3.html

^Now the 7970 is about as strong as the 780 in almost all of the latest benchmarks I can find.  Hell the 7950 (At Stock) is matching or beating the 680 as well, and the 6970 now matches a 580!  It seems like AMD may be a bit more thought into the future of their cards than Nvidia does.  Hell maybe Nvidia builds them this ways so people are forced to upgrade every 1-2 years.  Thoughts?
