I don't really see why that would matter your phone would still work. I still want to get one beause of the remote play.

I don't want to have phone that doesn't receive any updates or some shit anymore because the company decided to ditch the brand.

eh that would have mattered years ago to me but now I don't even care. I didn't even notice any changes from any of the updates they've done lately. I would much rather have remote play then updates.
