She's young and emotional, and doesn't know what she wants. Just like you. I doubt she's "playing you" intentionally as some have suggested. She's just living the emotional rollercoaster of every 16-year-old.
Don't worry about it too much. I went through the same thing when I was 16. You'll look back on this and realize how silly it was. If you think it's worth it, give it another shot. The worst that could happen is that you break up again, and you have to find someone else, which you'd have to do anyway.
