Have been raised not having Nintendo as primary platform. Family wasn't rich and here the Nintendo games were always obscenely expensive.

Had Atari until my 8y, then genesis until 15 then playstation... But played all Nintendo consoles on neighbor.

Nowadays I have all previous gen Nintendo consoles and like several of their games but preffer Sony IPs.

What a lot of Nintendo fans brag about, the games not losing value is something that in here seems more like "too much to ask for a game", I don't value any Nintendo game (or much of most games) more than 30 bucks, so Nintendo HW just get attractive to me a gen later, while ps I can buy a game for 20 a year after release.
