How do you play Dragon Age Inquisition?

I guess I'm playing it wrong to a degree. most of the schematics I find, even when attaching dragon bone to them produce worse stats than just some rare armour you just find. I do however do the boots and gloves for each armour a lot. The plus 10% stats thing won't help in most cases. It's not like the game is hard mind, I guess the armour crafting would help more in Nightmare.

How far are you in the game? 

Completed it twice. I've not done Hard or Nightmare though, I'm a story player, not there for a challenge. Might give that a go one day but considering I pretty much played the game straight for 2 months, I'm having a break. :P
