| jetforcejiminy said: all right, i'm about done explaining anything to you, but what i said was not that digital+retail was negligible, just that RETAIL is all i have from vgchartz and yes, 100k retail IS negligible in the context of 2.5m in physical sales on ps360. this has gotten so derailed from the original topic, you're contradicting yourself. it sold well when it WAS on pc, 360 and ps3. bloodborne's only on ps4. it will not sell anywhere near as well. it may not get to 2m for YEARS, not months, if it ever does. it may take all or most of 2015 for it to get to 1m. PARTICULARLY because there are no ports. and because it is not a souls title, but a separate series with some of the same mechanics but a different emphasis (more of an action-horror angle). to look to (dark) souls titles (multiplat), especially those that were cross-platform, in an attempt to predict the sales of bloodborne (exclusive), is like looking at a mainline halo (blockbuster exclusive) title to predict the sales of destiny (multiplat). it just doesn't follow. just out of morbid curiosity, how much, exactly, do you think bloodborne will sell lifetime? in 2015? |
You didn't even say that the 100K figure that you fabricated were physical sales only nor have you even proved that that number is true. But let's say that you actually did clarify at the beginning.... what was your point from pointing out that 100K physical sales are negligible? You do know that the majority of PC sales are done digitally (look at Steam). Like I said before, you need to do more research on the PC market.
