Kinda surprised, actually. I never gave this a chance for being a 3DS title, and after trying the demo it kinda felt a bit uncomfortable playing it.
So just a few weeks ago, I picked it very cheap for my 360. It is both a Resident Evil and a Capcom game, so how could I not play it anyway? Decided to give it a second chance. And boy! It was definitively worth it. The game has a strong RE1 vibe with the mansion swapped in favor of a boat, the controls are a bit clunky but they work and the overall game is satisfying. Even for a sequel/prequel/spin-off/something in between this game is, it actually came up with a good story that fits into the universe perfectly, and ties in with the beginning of Resident Evil 5 (don't worry, that ain't a spoiler).
Despite Jill being the main character, it kinda surprised me the amount of time you spend playing the game as different characters. I didn't like it at first because every other character looked like a goofy buffons, but by the time the credits rolled, I had a bit of attachment to them all.
My perhaps only complain regarding the game itself is that Raid Mode is grindish as heck. I don't know if it was that tedious on the 3DS, but boy the port versions take it to a different dimension.
If you haven't played Revelations yet...I strongly advise you to do so!
