Ps3 didn't had the same problems that WiiU has.
PS3 biggest problem was price.Once Sony started to make price cuts, the consoles started to sell better.Plus,PS3 never sold as bad as WiiU.
WiiU biggest problem is the lack of third party games.And even if third parties started to release their games on WiiU,the demographic probably wouldn't be there to buy.It's a snow ball effect.
